Information/Instructional design - definition

Information/instructional design is the visual method of understanding and presenting complex information and data in order to help and inform a particular user achieve an objective with efficiency. Information/instructional design can take on forms such as charts, tables and instructional materials. The design of these forms can be improved through analysing the needs of the user in relation to an objective, to see whether the design satisfies the needs and the intended message is recieved by the user.
